Spiritual Opportunities -  +Vespers*+
Midweek WorshipEvery week, during the middle of the week, on Wednesday we will meet together and discuss the Word of God and its role in our lives, as we are people who are led by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and have been given His Spirit. +Vespers+ is a worship service with a Bible study in the middle instead of a traditional sermon. We discuss the word of God back and forth as we talk togther. Dinner Before Before every +Vespers+ we share a meal together at 6:30pm, so come hungry! *A Little About The Name - +Vespers+ The word "Vespers" is an old word which was the name of a traditional Christian worship service celebrated at dusk when the sun went down. While we don't worship in the same ways that those people worshiped back then, we consider our heritage to go back to those early ancient Christians who worshiped God when the evening was approaching. |
