Midweek
Spiritual Opportunities - +Vespers+ Guitar Led Service Every
week, during
the middle of the week, on Wednesday we will meet together
and discuss the Word of God and its role in our lives, as we are people
who are led by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and have been given His
Spirit.+Vespers+ is sort of like a worship service with a Bible study in the middle instead of a sermon. We discuss the word of God back and forth as we talk togther. The word that meant "sermon" in early Christianity actually meant "to throw back and forth". Pastor Jay will throw out questions and answers and we will talk about the word of God as it applies to our lives. We just finished a series is called "InContext". In this series we were discussing the Parables of Jesus and putting them into today's context. We are going to be discussing the Christian devotional life in our series, "Devoted." This series will examine 4 different elements of Christian spirituality:
